Michael Zager

Chief Operating Officer

Michael Zager is a hotel industry leader with over 30 years of experience in the international hospitality arena. Zager has held leadership positions for many global hotel groups including InterContinental Hotel Group, Wyndham Hotel Group and Marriott in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Zager’s last post prior to joining HMH was Vice President Operations Continental Europe for IHG responsible for the franchised and managed hotel portfolio, with over 300 hotels in 26 countries in Continental Europe.

Prior to IHG, Zager was with Wyndham Hotel Group for 13 years, holding the position of Regional Vice President Middle East and Africa for Wyndham Hotel Group in Dubai, and prior to that being accountable for the financial and operational success of all Wyndham hotels within the MEA region.

To highlight further, Zager has extensive proficiency in hotel management services, developing standard operating procedures across multiple commercial functions and overseeing hotel openings across the GCC and East Africa.

Zager is a Hotel-profession graduate (IHK) from Bergius Professional School in Frankfurt, Germany, Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) and completed the PDP Educational Courses for Strategic Hospitality Management and Feasibility studies at Cornell Hotel School Ithaca, NY.

Haytham Abdelaziz
Director of Operations

Haytham Abdelaziz joined Hospitality Management Holding (HMH) in May 2019 as the Director of Operations.    Prior to that Mr. Abdelaziz worked with HMH-managed properties since 2014, including Executive Assistant Manager at Bahi Ajman Palace, Hotel Manager at Coral Beach Resort Sharjah and Acting Cluster General Manager for both properties.

Mr. Abdelaziz has also successfully led the pre-opening phase of the 404-key Coral Al Madinah Hotel.  Mr. Abdelaziz has over 19 years of operations experience working with several international brands in the region. In his new role, Mr. Abdelaziz will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the execution of the brands operational procedures, delivering key strategic initiatives for the new properties in the pipeline to full operation readiness. Building and sustaining strong partnerships with our existing owners and long-standing partners will also be pivotal in his new role.

Hala Al Ramadhi
Director of Technical Services

Ms. Al Ramadhi began her career in 1998 as an Architectural and Interior Design Assistant with Gensler in London. Working her way up, she subsequently gained valuable experience with a number of prestigious architectural firms in the UK such AJP Frankham and WAT&G before moving to the UAE in 2007. She then joined Aldar Properties PJSC, Hotels & Hospitality as Design Manager.

A British national, Ms. Al Ramadhi holds a degree in Architecture from De Montfort University in Leicester in UK. She completed a thesis project in Tailoring; Architecture from University College Dublin in Ireland followed by a professional diploma in Architectural Practice, Construction Legislation, Procurement and Contracts from the same institute. Ms. Al Ramadhi has a strong interest in how sustainable practices can be incorporated into all architecture and qualified as a Certified Passive Designer by the Passive House Institute (PHI), Darnstadt in Germany.

Faycal Ouaissa
Head of Operational Support

With nearly two decades of experience in hospitality, Moroccan national Faycal Ouaissa specialises in launching new F&B outlet concepts and has worked with leading brands such as the Marriott, One and Only Hotels and Resorts, Le Meridien and Hilton. His most recent posting was at the Belgian Beer Café at Radisson Blu Hotel on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi and Pascal Tepper French bakery at Dubai Media City.

Multi-lingual in Arabic, English and French, he has worked at the Marriott in Jeddah, KSA before moving to the UAE in 2000 to take charge of F&B at the One and Only Royal Mirage Hotel in Dubai. He later opened restaurants at the Hilton Dubai and Madinat Jumeirah Dubai prior to becoming an operations manager and then an F&B consultant.

At HMH Faycal is responsible for providing all necessary operational support and assistance to general managers. He is also responsible for operational audits and implementation of brand standards at all hotels under the group. Subsequently he will work on streamlining the hotel operations.

Ossama Moustafa Elsetouhy
Regional Financial Controller

Ossama Moustafa Elsetouhy is the Regional Financial Controller at HMH - Hospitality Management Holding. He holds nearly two decades of outstanding experience working at various levels in finance.

Prior to joining HMH, Ossama was the Financial Controller at Mercure Centre Hotel in Abu Dhabi. During the course of his career Ossama had the opportunity to hone his skills at many successful properties such as Rotana Coral Beach Tiran, Sharm El Sheikh; Novotel Seeb Airport, Muscat; Sofitel Pyramids Park, Cairo; Ramada Renaissance, Cairo. An Egyptian National, Ossama is a graduate from Cairo University and fluent in English language and Arabic.

At HMH, he is responsible for monitoring and analysing monthly operating results against budget and forecast at different hotels under the group. In addition, he evaluates the reports and audits the hotels to ensure correct HMH protocols, policies and procedures are adhered to.
