Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel, managed by HMH, hosted yesterday the 3rd annual Emirati Women’s Day to recognize the contribution of the nation’s women in the success of the country. The event was organized in association with the Tourism Development Authority of the UAE and was inaugurated by H.E. Sheikh Doctor Majid Bin Saeed Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ruler’s Court of Ajman. Present on the occasion was also the Director General of Ajman Tourism Mr. Salah Al Jazeeri to award Dr. Aysha Al Bousmit, winner of the Emirati Women’s Day trophy.
HMH – Hospitality Management Holding has announced the promotion of Haytham Aziz to General Manager of Coral Beach Resort Sharjah. Aziz joined the HMH group in 2014 as Executive Assistant Manager at Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel before being promoted to the position of Hotel Manager at Coral Beach Resort Sharjah in 2015.
HMH – Hospitality Management Holding has appointed Rafat Gotta as the new General Manager at Coral Dubai Deira Hotel. With a strong track record of accomplishments, Gotta brings over 18 years of experience in the industry having worked at properties managed by international brands like InterContinental Hotel Group, Kempinski and Marriott International. Prior to taking over the new role, Gotta was the Hotel Manager at Holiday Inn Express Dubai Airport.
Speaking at the Vision Conference at The Hotel Show in Dubai, CEO of HMH - Hospitality Management Holdings Laurent A. Voivenel shared strategic insights and trends in hospitality investment regarding new projects as well as refurbishments. The panel was chaired by Mr Catalin I. Cighi, Managing Partner, Cain Hospitality Innovation (CHI) and included Ms Annamaria Lambri, Associate Professor of Architecture & Interior Design from American University in Dubai among other experts.
According to Haytham Aziz, Hotel Manager, Coral Beach Resort Sharjah “12 per cent of guests at the hotel originate from Germany. There is an enormous potential to increase this while also tapping into other European countries”.
HMH is progressing well on its ECO Vision 2020 with the aim of reducing energy and water consumption up to 20 per cent by 2020 at the various hotels managed by the group. In doing so, the pioneer among local hotel chains from the Middle East, is leading the way in sustainability programmes.
